Got with that controlled a 200ft Cat6 mouse when I tried 3 other powered devices that didn't work at that distance. Something about the simplicity of this device and it was plug and play. I wouldn't use this for complex USB devices, but a mouse or maybe a simple keyboard works great. I've also used it in a PoE switch as a USB charger, which worked surprisingly well.
