I bought one for my wife she loves it so I bought one for my car. Complete garbage. Both came from the same source (from Sam) within a week. I opened up the one I bought for myself and when I put the charging pad on the bleed clip the clip broke on the ball just like my wife had 2 pins from the collet. The store I bought it from is across the street so I walked and exchanged it. I opened this up in the car and as I carefully inserted the ball into the socket, one of the pins on the collet broke. What the heck is Atomy Quality Control? Obviously not. The problem seems to be that the part design has little or no rounding. Atomy doesn't even show this crap on their website, maybe they're ashamed of it. I would feel the same if I sold a product with a 66% probability of failure in a random sample.
