Bought because my previous laptop decided to die before my final semester of nursing school. When I was considering buying laptops I did a lot of research and leaned towards the MacBook Pro but couldn't justify the cost for what the hardware offered. Plus limited gaming skills, and although I'm familiar with Macs, I'm most comfortable with Windows. Basically, this laptop was amazing. It looks stylish, it coexists with all my school programs (which is impressive because my exam software should be considered a virus at best). The laptop has excellent speed, the touchpad is sensitive and responsive, and the battery lasts all day. What's wrong with that? A couple of times I left the laptop open and tried to wake up the computer but it wasn't responding. Annoying, but when I close and reopen the screen everything is fine. Once the laptop turned off and wouldn't turn on again, just googled on the phone and already found a solution. I also had to turn off the automatic screen brightness adjustment because it was too sensitive and fluctuated constantly. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase. There are a few things I would like to fix but I didn't want to spend the money on an even more expensive laptop so I think while it's pricey it's a huge upgrade from what I had and it holds up great for the last 3 months.
