Mice plugged into USB-C hubs are buggy

When a mouse is plugged into a USB-C hub, the laptop just can't handle it. The mouse will slow down and jump. Other laptops work fine with a hub so I tried a different hub and the same problem persists. Looks like I'll have to plug it in separately, defeating the purpose of USB-C.

Pros
  • An absolute legend
Cons
  • Expensive insurance

BEWARE! Not Surface 3. Not sold by Microsoft. SCAM

I used this laptop for about 3.5 months before realizing it wasn't the laptop advertised. The Surface 3 (latest model) has a USB-C port. This one doesn't work. I reported this to the seller but received no response. After about 3 weeks it was buggy for me during the day and didn't turn on. After that it worked fine. A little slower than I expected, but it makes sense now knowing this won't be the last Surface laptop. Battery life is okay, but nothing special. Again I was surprised and…

quality product. - Computer and Accessories

Works with no problems. Matte black picks up fingerprints easily, but I don't care if you get a different color. People who complain about the laptop "freezing" should change the power saving mode to the power that the laptop sets automatically to save battery life, which will slow down the computer. (It's on all Microsoft laptops now and has been for a while.) I wouldn't recommend this for gaming, it's not like it's meant for a work laptop. If you want to play games, buy a desktop.

A bit pricey but so far it's been worth it.

Bought because my previous laptop decided to die before my final semester of nursing school. When I was considering buying laptops I did a lot of research and leaned towards the MacBook Pro but couldn't justify the cost for what the hardware offered. Plus limited gaming skills, and although I'm familiar with Macs, I'm most comfortable with Windows. Basically, this laptop was amazing. It looks stylish, it coexists with all my school programs (which is impressive because my exam software should…

Best build quality on the market

Outstanding build quality. High-end configurations are slightly overpriced. My first one was stolen en route by a UPS driver but Amazon refunded my money.

Broken Laptop - Thin blue vertical line on screen that cannot be removed

Purchasing this laptop was a serious mistake. I bought it in January and didn't open it until late February/early March, now I realize that not opening it and checking the computer as soon as I received it was a huge mistake. When I opened it about 4 weeks later I found it was faulty and now I'm stuck with the laptop as the refund option has disappeared from my Revain purchase history. When I turned on the laptop, I noticed a thin blue vertical line on the left. Screen. I tried searching Google

Great laptop for traveling

I really like this product. I received it in matte black and was expecting much worse due to fingerprint issues. It's very simple and doesn't bother me. I also didn't experience any lag as shown in other reviews. I have the i7 version. My screen automatically changes the brightness from low to high without changing rooms, which is annoying but hopefully gets fixed soon. Overall very stylish and functional, the keyboard and trackpad are nice, and I like the screen size (bigger than your usual 13

Constant reboots

The laptop itself is slim and light. Love how it looks! However, it has one serious problem - a blue screen and the need to restart all the time. I contacted Microsoft twice for technical support, but none of their reps solved the problem. I have a headache right now!

Pros
  • Well built
Cons
  • Too dumb

So far so good for traditional laptops

I have a minimum 13.5 inch matte black configuration just to improve performance. No gaming. I plan to upload an overview video to my YouTube tech channel in case anyone is curious about my user experience. But as the title says, so far so good, no problem. I will spend more time on this and adjust my review of this product accordingly if anything changes. The only thing that worries me is that it's also a common complaint with all Surface products that seems to be the random adaptive…

Warning. “25” percent of Microsoft laptop failures in 2 years.

EDIT: Yes I have a bad model but in my opinion Microsoft has more than enough money to make a laptop reliable, especially since it competes with the most reliable laptop brand. A Surface laptop isn't bad, but it doesn't cost thousands of dollars or more when your own phone is likely to outlive it. Plus, for the same price, you can buy a laptop with almost twice as many specs. Save your money, don't support them and they have to get better if they want to compete. Update: It took about a month…
