There is a bit of ground habanero pepper in the photo. It is clearly very finely ground. The only thing I don't like is that the powder sticks to the lid and gasket and you have to be careful or you'll lose some powder on the counter when you undo the clamps to look inside. This is aided by a few light taps on the lid with the brush's wooden handle before separating the lid from the main body/bowl. But overall I'm very happy with it. It looks like an unexpectedly high quality gear. Definitely 5 stars. Yes, it's loud, but so what? That's the price you pay for a powerful electric motor. You don't need a quieter/smaller motor as it will burn out faster. Well, that's my opinion.
