Bought these for my 6 and 8 year olds to take food and water with them on camping trips. The backpacks are lightweight, don't leak, there's room for a snack/layer of clothing/etc. and many belt adjustment options. The chest strap was too low for children, but the shoulder and waist straps tightened to fit snugly. It's easy to set up when they need a break and the adults carry the bags. Great value for money.
