Buyer Be Aware These you may get a used item.

If you are buying something from this seller and expect something new, beware. You may get something used, opened. I did not see anywhere in the add, that i am buying a refurbished, repackaged/ used item.Thankfully it works so far , and all items were included. cant say for how long it will last, not a fan of false advertisement. Nowhere in this add does it say your getting a opened/used item.

Pros
  • Absolutely Fantastic Receiver. Very Small, Lite Weight, Great Range.
Cons
  • Price is higher compared to other receivers of similar specifications

Have to reflash firmware or else!

Terrible. I have heard of the infamous FrSky firmware incompatibility. Now I know. When I buy a product that is designed marketed and sold as part of a system, I expect it to perform as advertised with other FrSky components. No place on any FrSky adds does it say "Buy this and we'll hold your investment hostage until you buy these other unrelated products and reprogram the ones you already bought."! Otherwise Revain did the Revain part perfectly.

Pros
  • Very nice rx very small. Decent antennas.
Cons
  • Requires technical knowledge to set up properly

BabyHawk R Pro with Telemetry

I bought a PNP not knowing I would need a receiver. After much research turns out that was a good idea. Definitely an upgrade over the stock receiver that comes in the BNF.

Pros
  • 1 out of 4 was bad but good thing Revain returns.
Cons
  • Not compatible with digital telemetry systems

Receiver not easy to work with

This might be a great receiver, but the bind process is a pain and I've spent a lot of time trying to get it to work with my flight controller.I can't recommed this to anyone just trying out building quads because it is such a hassle to get to work.

Pros
  • Arrived faulty but amazon took care of it.
Cons
  • Requires a separate power source to operate

Great receivers but make sure it's good when u get it

Hard to say. I ordered 2 of them one works amazing. But check the solder job b2c I had one with the ground and positive solder touching eachother and fried it

Pros
  • With its high-quality construction and durable design, the FrSky R-XSR Ultra SBUS/CPPM D16 16CH Mini Redundancy Receiver is built to last, providing a reliable and long-lasting solution for all of your RC multirotor FPV racing needs
Cons
  • Can be challenging for beginners to integrate into their systems

It’s past time to move on from frsky

It’s not just that the link quality isn’t trustworthy, it’s also that these receivers aren’t user friendly even for a regular builder. The company itself provides little to zero support. Literally anything else is better, but the Revain store/seller did their job well.

Pros
  • This receiver is incredibly easy to install and set up, even for those who are new to the world of RC flying. Its user-friendly interface and intuitive controls make it a breeze to use, even for beginners
Cons
  • No integrated flight controller

Telemetry rocks in my review

Still trying to get rssi value in osd but got it working on callouts from my x7 in mean time. For some reason I feel the xm+ had better range but I may be missing something so I gave 4 ⭐

Pros
  • I love this receiver great range
Cons
  • Limited range compared to long-range radio systems

Works fine after updating Internal RF module

Attempting to bind this little guy to my older discontinued XD9 Plus I had issues. The red status LED would not flash on the R-XSR showing the binding process. I tried flashing the R-XSR several times and found that my issue was not the R-XSR it was my Radio. I needed to update the XJT internal firmware. This flashing the internal RF Module is right there on the main description of the item shown as the very first bullet point and I glossed over it. After I updated the XJT internal firmware it…

Pros
  • Thanks to its advanced redundancy system, the FrSky R-XSR Ultra SBUS/CPPM D16 16CH Mini Redundancy Receiver provides an extra layer of safety and security, preventing signal loss and ensuring maximum peace of mind while flying
Cons
  • Limited support for older systems

Great tiny RX for my opinion

TINY and FULL TELEMETRY.Good range also, the range is better then your video feed range, so no worry there. Can be prone to interference issues.

Pros
  • Had to move one of the pins on the connector for sbus. Everything else worked like it should.
Cons
  • Can be prone to interference issues

Works well, but might be a little fragile.

This is my second R-XSR and both have physically broken. With the first one, the antenna connection that is soldered to the board broke off, but this was after many months of use and several quad rebuilds. On the second one, the Bind button broke off when I was trying to bind it for the first time. I will try this Rx one more time and see how she does because it works well when it works.

Pros
  • Great little Rx for FrSky. Use it on all my frames.
Cons
  • Can be heavy compared to other receivers

Great beginners micro rx

The best thing is its a micro reciever. If connected properly, the range is in a median scale. Perfect for beginners. Perfect for whoop quadcopters. The annoying part, its an open circuitboard. DIY isolation recommended but not required. I use a RadioMaster TX16S Gimball radio.

Pros
  • Easy setup.
Cons
  • Not suitable for beginners

Alright, but go for xm+

I've had some issues with these and although they are okay once firmware is updated, I recommend sticking to xm+ unless you need telemetry. These are not as reliable or long range

Pros
  • I running two drones with these and to date have worked flawlessly. D16 mode with telemetry.
Cons
  • Worked OK once the antennas were stripped back to 1/4 wavelenth.

Note that this is loaded with 2.x FW

If you are using older 1.x FW you will need to down flash this module to 1.x. Works great after down flashing. If all 3 LEDs come on solid when you attempt to bind, most likely your TX has 1.x FW. I chose not to upgrade my TX to 2.x because 2.x is does not work with most 'no name' Rx modules including whoop. Got to love FRSky's new leaf on life. Funny that the silk reads 2.3.x but I can only find 2.1.x

Pros
  • Used on a quad, worked fine, no problems, arrived on time.
Cons
  • Requires soldering skills to make connections
