I bought these to work with my new Bose Acoustimass 10 Series V home theater speaker system. I have two problems setting up these brackets if you want to ceiling mount the speakers. First you need to know exactly how you want the speaker to face into the room, unlike a ceiling mount you have full freedom of movement. With a ceiling mount, this limits the ability to rotate the speakers in any direction other than up or down. Second, the mounting plate used to attach to the back of the speakers breaks Bose's cable. The cable is quite thick and comes straight out of the back of the speaker. The only way to get the bracket to snap into place is to loosen the mounting screw on the back of the plate and press down on the speaker as well. I hope that Bose comes up with a new design for these speakers, or that many customers call Bose for new speaker cables.
