Robust clip in portable audio/video devices

Exactly as described. The clip is very strong. The release lever is quite small, so it can be a little tricky to push. I change the batteries every day and just turn off the clip. For some reason it doesn't stay stuck in the battery at all. I think it has to do with old and worn out batteries, not the clip.
