This is a fairly solid material for its size and weight. It is ideal as a lanyard for outdoor gear and as a lightweight rope for tensioning lightweight tarpaulins and tents. A decent option for use in bear bags. 50 ft of this + homemade fabric rock bag (made from recycled old running shorts) + a 65 lb mini carabiner = 25 grams for a suspension kit that can do PCT suspensions or other methods.
