Review on πŸ”Œ High-Speed 4K HDMI Cable with Braided Cord - 2 Feet | HDCP 2.2, HDR, 60Hz, 18Gbps by James Stjames

Revainrating 2 out of 5

Not as good as the basic HDMI cable Comcast gave me. But maybe I got a defective cable.

This may be an exception. But we bought a Samsung Frame TV. It's their 4K QLED processor, which doesn't quite match LG's or SONY's OLED quality, but is close enough. Once I connected everything with these cables, I noticed that the picture was fine, but certainly not the quality I was expecting. But I lived with it for a few days. Then, on a whim, I decided to replace the HDMI cable that runs from the cable box to the TV with a regular HDMI cable that a Comcast tech installed a few months ago - and bingo! much better picture and brighter contrast etc. I bought the 2ft and 3ft versions of these Securomax HDMI cables. Maybe I got a defective version of the cable. But I will return both. Too bad. I like how they look. But not as much as I like the vastly improved picture when using my regular Comcast HDMI cable :-)

Pros
  • Video cable
Cons
  • Not sure
