I needed a short, good quality cable to connect my Roku to my HDTV. It's one of the few cables that's two feet long, and it's essential to keep the rat's nest from adding the overly long wires that grow over time in any A/V setup. This flexible, durable cable provides a secure connection at both ends. In short (no pun intended), it does the job it's supposed to do and does it well.
I understand it's trying to be durable and look "professional". I figured I'd save space by buying short cords, but that's counterintuitive because you can't tie excess to it because the thick shielding and braided cord mean they won't flex. They also don't rotate cleanly at right angles, resulting in the broad tip of the "Racing Line" cable protruding from the device. I'm sure the longer versions will be more useful as the extra length allows you to loop neatly.
THIS PRODUCT AND OTHER PRODUCTS OF THE SAME BUT WITH DIFFERENT LENGTHS START TO LOSE THE SIGNAL VERY. A BIT AND THEN AGAIN AS IF YOU HAVE A SHORT. I KNOW IT WAS THE HDMI CABLE AND NOT MY EQUIPMENT BECAUSE I BOUGHT ANOTHER TYPE AND IT WORKS PERFECTLY WITHOUT ANY PROBLEMS. I TRIED TO CONTACT securOMAX BUT SUCCESSFUL BECAUSE THESE CABLES WERE ADVERTISED WITH A LIFETIME WARRANTY. (HOW GOOD, YES?)
The overall quality of this cable is very good. The braided cable looks very premium and the true HDMI connectors feel strong and durable too. The only downside I have is that 2ft seems too small and I think going up to 3 or 4ft would be extremely beneficial for cable usage. This is fine with my normal PC setup and is actually quite nice because I can't see the cable because it's not sagging under my monitor. However, I tried to organize a movie night by putting the monitor on a small table and
This may be an exception. But we bought a Samsung Frame TV. It's their 4K QLED processor, which doesn't quite match LG's or SONY's OLED quality, but is close enough. Once I connected everything with these cables, I noticed that the picture was fine, but certainly not the quality I was expecting. But I lived with it for a few days. Then, on a whim, I decided to replace the HDMI cable that runs from the cable box to the TV with a regular HDMI cable that a Comcast tech installed a few months ago -
NUC and Nintendo Switch connection problem PERFECTLY solved! Hooked it up to the DOTSTONE HDMI splitter, shameless plug because it's SO AWESOME to just press a button and play MUSIC ON THE COMPUTER through an HDMI port while playing Super Mario WITH SOUND AND OTHERS! This is an HDMI PASSAGE and supports ALL LATEST PROTOCOLS up to FIVE METERS! They won't let me sell them any product because they are an independent company, but I liked it so much that I tried to become a company representativeβ¦
I have just purchased a new 4k Bolt Vox to add to my new 4k TV and receiver. I already have a box full of HDMI cables and some of them are old, making it impossible to view them if they support the latest standards. Plus, none of them are less than 6 feet long, and the Bolt is so tiny that I plan to hold it very close to the system's HDMI input outdoors. Using a very short 2-foot cable not only means less tangles, but even if the difference is tiny, the shorter the signal has to travel down the
