I bought this to use on a Delta flight with my 14 lb cat. It was excellent because it had so many opportunities to expand and explore. I flew 2 hours on a domestic flight. The TSA requires you to remove your pet from the carrier for an examination. We were late so I didn't have time to ask for a private room. However, I was able to easily remove my cat and put it back through the top opening once during the ordering process. On the plane after take off I was able to widen the end to give my cat more space during the flight. The backpack seems very well made and the net held up when my cat rampaged during landing. My cat doesn't like transportation, so I was very happy that we went through the whole process and arrived at our destination without any problems. My cat still seems happy to be in the carrier when I take her to the vet. The carrier folds up very compactly, which is great for storage. A very happy customer!
