Revain has many similar devices but I'm glad I chose this one. While the instructions don't explain every step, if you have basic electrical knowledge and have already installed a ceiling fan, it should be very easy. I don't know what type of junction boxes others have, but I have a 4" ceiling fan box in my attic and the mounting bracket fits perfectly. The block was original out of the box and all its parts are perfectly matched. Be careful when screwing the threaded tube (protective cap) into the center hub - the hub doesn't have a stop like other fans and you can damage the wires if you screw them in too deep. but pay attention to the depth and you should be fine. There are slight differences in the finish of the bracket cover and motor body, with the cover being lightly polished and the body more resembling a real satin/brushed nickel, but nothing flashy or distracting about that Unit makes a loud beeping sound when turning on/off the light and/or fan but that's my only complaint So far very satisfied don't hesitate to buy this model.
