Review on 🎡 Enhance Your Bass Experience with SVS SoundPath Subwoofer Isolation System (4-Pack)! by Aaron Collins

Great for even modest installations

My Dayton Sub-1000 is a reliable and undemanding performer. However, this has long been the weakest link in my sound system. When I finally looked at the legs, I realized that maybe it wasn't the speaker's fault. I was skeptical about them at first as I'm into almost all tonal "settings". They also cost almost as much as a real subwoofer. With a few free spots on the map, I decided to try them out. After overcoming a small hurdle, which I'll get to in a moment, I screwed on the SVS feet and pocketed a couple of my favorite bass albums. Life changing difference? Maybe not, but they've greatly improved the clarity and accuracy of my subwoofer. Low frequencies are tighter in their transmission and tonally more accurate. The hurdle I encountered was that the bolts that come with the Dayton legs are much narrower than those offered by SVS. Their head is a good 1-2mm narrower than the holes on the underside of the CBC legs. I was able to fix this fairly quickly by visiting a hardware store where I bought a set of #8 washers for $0.49. Great little adapters for cheap Dayton screws. Pro tip, #10 washers will work too. Anything larger will not fit your leg. Do they cost $50? If you're one of those people who has already looked into subwoofer isolation, the answer is probably yes. They make an audible improvement that you'll notice a minute or two after listening.

Pros
  • Stainless steel mounting screws
Cons
  • Expensive
