Review on 🍳 Cuisinart 12-Inch Tongs with Silicone Tips by Ashlee Washington

I use them to "grab" food while cooking, either from a baking tray or a non-stick pan. I am very happy with these pliers. They are well made and the silicone is thick and will likely last a long time if not abused. The Cuisinart name suggests they're likely to be more food safe than the unnamed brands, though both are likely made in China. And the locking mechanism is both convenient and elegant. I'm not sure if the rubber on the handles or the top locking mechanism is silicone, but I'm not sure why those parts come into contact with hot surfaces or food anyway. The tips are an important part, they are well made and heat resistant.
