This jacket runs a bit big. Size 14 2XX. If you plan on layering in the middle of winter, extra space is required. The sleeves of the coat are very thin, there is no insulation at all on the hands. The arms are as thick as an autumn jacket. The fur only reaches to the shoulder blades. And about 2 inches wide at the front next to the zipper. It's a metal zipper (cool). The hood is huge, warm and beautiful, does not match the thickness of the hands. I got a lot of compliments on the jacket, it looks very nice. I like the looks and the style. My only complaint is that my arms don't have insulation and I can't wear them all winter without freezing. I'm trying to figure out how to expand the arms without ruining them. Otherwise it's great. I'm also not sure if people say it's heavy, mine wasn't, maybe mine was overlooked when I put the padding on my arms while everyone else said it's a very warm jacket because I have Freezing today and the temp was 40 degrees (10/30/19) which is not for Wisconsin.
