Review on Clover Protect Grip Thimble Large by Barbara Simmons

I ordered this for hand quilting which I have been doing for years without finding the right thimble for me. My search continues. This thimble is comfortable and holds my finger well, but I personally don't like using the tip of the thimble to push the needle. I was hoping that the rim around the top would allow me to use more sideshift (I use the bottom of the nail when not wearing a thimble). The rubber part is great for grabbing the needle to pull it through. The thimble appears to be well made.
