Not very good but passable

I was really excited about this because I thought the photos looked great but it turned out they were just nothing. The colors don't really show up unless they're on a solid background. My other issue is that some of the designs are just plain bad. Tell me why some of them look good while others use a comic book font and look like they were created in MS Paint.
