Throw out the whole lamp
Ordered as a gift for a girl. I tried to set everything up before giving it to her - and glad I did! First, the instruction manual is almost non-English. Of the many written languages, English is almost microscopic. Second, building a lampshade is a nightmare. So much so that I had to use duct tape. Don't waste your time and money on it!
