Ideal for toddlers from 2 years old (supervised) and sturdy enough. These are real floor puzzles and require a lot of space to assemble - around 4ft+ to work with and space for the completed puzzle which in most cases is around 2ft x 3ft. They're slick, so if they get sticky you can probably wipe them off quickly with a damp (not wet!) cloth. Excellent image quality and a great teaching tool for spatial analysis and problem solving. The ONLY minus is the price of the puzzle. Melissa and Doug offer the same size and quality for almost half the price of these jigsaw puzzles. I love this brand and plan to buy more for my little one. I just wish they were less expensive.
