This puzzle’s picture is very beautiful. The colors are lovely. However I have to say it’s difficult to put together. There is very little variation in the shape of the pieces, and the tabs all have a squarish shape. This makes it very easy to put the wrong piece in the wrong place—though it feels like it fits. For this reason, it’s difficult for my 85-year-old mother to put together. The puzzle pieces pictured in the item’s description look nothing like the actual puzzle. See my picture.

This is a beautiful puzzle. It was lots of fun to do. The pieces were nicely shaped and there was no problem at all of putting them together incorrectly, which can be a major frustration. The coloration is terrific. Most importantly, when you’re finished, you feel so satisfied because the puzzle is so beautiful. I finished it 3 days ago and still have not broken it up because it’s so pretty to look at.

It's a cheap puzzle. It's too bad because the designs are really great (only reason they got the second star). The cardboard is cheap and the picture/ backing peels (like others have mentioned). The cut of the puzzle lets too many pieces match together so you have to constantly readjust pieces. Even when put together correctly (as in the picture) the lines are not straight (see right edge). Mine was also missing a piece which is very frustrating and sad. If you want good puzzles I suggest…

We love this series of puzzles so we couldn’t wait to do this one! They are very fun to put together and the graphic design is fantastic. Unfortunately the box arrived with a hole in it. We will modge podge the puzzle (these puzzles are so cute and well designed that they need to be hung up!) and likely throw away the box anyways but the seller should know that future orders might need more secure packaging.

Fun image to put together. Pieces reminded a bit of Galison. Pieces easily fit in several places making it more challenging. Small smell when opening the bag but not any worse than any other puzzle I have purchased on Walmart that is manufactured in China and a non-issue for me. Would stick to the 500 pieces count of this brand as I’m not sure how the pieces will hold up after assembling the puzzle a few times.

We had about 18 missing pieces. We also had 6 pieces that were duplicated. Pretty discouraging to work on this and find that we could not finish it.

This puzzle is gorgeous! The artwork is incredible and truly lovely. Sturdiness and puzzle thickness are great. Only major complaint is that the pieces are only cut into 4 shapes. So pieces will fit together perfectly and yet be in the wrong place. Makes for a highly frustrating experience, particularly the edge pieces. The saving grace is the beauty of the finished work but I cannot give more than 3 stars because of so little variety of piece shape.

The pieces are cut so similarly that it is difficult to tell when you have a "fit” or not. My 11 year old grandson (who is quite good at puzzles) got frustrated. I had to take apart a lot and redo, especially on edge pieces. Beautiful scenes but .

Puzzle looks nice. Many ways to put the wrong piece in because they (especially on the border.) are the same pattern and shape.I bought the puzzle Mid Atlantic because it was local. My son and I started putting it together, and it wasn’t making much sense. Grabbed the box and the color didn’t match. Sure enough it was the Southwest puzzle in the Mid Atlantic box. Box had the factory seal. Would have returned it but I bought it last year and hadn’t gotten to it.

Great photo but quality of pieces is very poor with many not being cut through all the way, causing tearing of the backing. I work a lot of puzzles and this is the first I’ve ever seen like this. I had to trim many many pieces!

I bought this for my 80 year old puzzling dad. I like 500 pieces because he works them himself and he can get them done before he gets bored. He commented the edges were identical, just stripes, no clues. It’s just a lot harder than it looks. I want him to keep busy but enjoy the puzzle.

I thoroughly enjoy doing puzzles, but this one was not my favorite. So many pieces were the same size/cut and would fit in multiple places. The green trees were the last section I completed and I had to leave it sitting for a few days because I was so frustrated trying to figure out where the pieces went. Almost all seemed to fit in every green spot lol BUT I will say I'm glad I finally finished because it's a beautiful puzzle! Reminds me of Nantucket.

I bought the puzzle for my elderly mother, who enjoys working jigsaw puzzles. It was a good challenge because some of the pieces seem to fit in multiple spots. My mother completed it successfully. I visited her two weeks later and she worked it again, and I helped her work it. Thank you!

This is a beautiful puzzle. It’s quite hard. I typically do 500-550 puzzles. Because of the way this depicts thick paint strokes it’s difficult to distinguish where the pieces go. It would be perfect if you like that level of difficulty.

I've put together puzzles from other companies without difficulty, 500 piece and 1000 piece. I liked the colors on this puzzle, the giant blue whale and sea turtle. Cute designs, poor execution. The pieces I received do not look like the ones pictured in the description. My pieces were so similarly cut, I could fit pieces on others, snug like a good fit, where they clearly did not belong according to the image. The border was difficult too. I could only fit in the last edge piece backwards…

I liked the image, but the wrong pieces fit together too easily. I finished it with all the pieces in the right place but the ease in which you could place a piece in the wrong place made it frustrating at the end and not fun. Stick with Ravenburger. Much higher quality.

We’re beginners and this 500-piecer was a good challenge. Different borders helped. Pieces are quite similar so there were a few re-piecing stretches. Subject matter pleasing.who doesn’t like the national parks? All in all, a satisfying way to pass the time during pandemic.

This was a beautiful puzzle.not too easy.not too hard.my only difficulty had to do with pieces being alike.I had to watch carefully that I was putting together correctly! So keep an eye on the pattern of the flowers for example to be certain.purchased a second puzzle in the series as well.
