I had a small iPad stand that broke and needed replacing. All the tables in the stores are huge and I didn't want anything that big. It's exactly the size I wanted, but it's not as easy to use as my broken table. The iPad slot is so close to the edge of the table that you have to use it when the iPad is facing the short edge and most of the "table" is hidden behind it, which is awkward or balanced. If you use it with the screen showing most of the table, the image will be too far away. The table I had previously had an iPad slot about 1/3 the middle so I used it with the screen facing both ways and was able to see the image easily and balance the table comfortably on my lap. This table isn't my ideal lap table, but it will do just fine until I find another one that's just like the one I broke. The table is sturdy and looks well made, the quality is good, it's just not exactly what I want.
