At first we really liked these glasses as they are perfect for the price and we like to have iced coffee in the morning. It's always a bit tricky to align them properly with the threads on the lid and cup. You usually just have to play around with it for a few seconds (we have 8 cups so we had a good sample size) to align it, sometimes it works, sometimes it snaps and just stays there really tight when it just doesn't align. After several spills over the past few months, we're finally going to stop ordering them. Sometimes snap-in, sometimes screw-on lids become superfluous. Unfortunately we threw away all the cups, lids and straws as we cannot afford another incident like the one in the picture. This happened while I was holding the top half of the mug, the lid just came off. We cannot purchase cups that do not guarantee continuity. Sorry Maars, we loved them for the price but won't be repurchasing.
