I bought this to use in restaurants when I want to have a drink with me. They work very well. The lids hold up well and they hold the cold longer than I expected. (Ice cream at noon is usually still there at 5:00). I've bought bigger ones too and the lids aren't as tight but they're nice and work well. They just appear to be sealed. Don't expect the lid to hold up well if dropped and there is a leak around the straw holder but I didn't buy them for that so it's not a problem.

I just received it so I can only speak of first impressions. I wanted to replace similar Oggi glasses that I dropped and broke. They're expensive, but the connection between the lid and cup isn't as strong, and the straws are definitely thinner in terms of plastic thickness and less durable. The straws also don't have an extra piece at the end to keep them from slipping out all the way, which is disappointing. I had one of these glasses that I used for a couple of years until it fell on the concrete and broke. This jar was more expensive than those 4 packs, and these jars are just as good! Great value for money. They insulate our drink perfectly - no condensation forms on the outside of the glass because it keeps the cold inside. They are dishwasher safe but not suitable for heat drying. The other day I accidentally forgot to turn off the drying setting in the dishwasher and one of those lids warped.

At first we really liked these glasses as they are perfect for the price and we like to have iced coffee in the morning.
