Seems to be durable, has been washed in the dishwasher a few times, has withstood boiling water to make iced tea and fits on my fridge door. However, if you pour something out of it, you have to put it back on, pry off the plastic cap, pour, put the cap back on and wipe away a few MORE drips. If you try to pour tea with a lid, a lot will squirt out of the spout and even more out the sides of the lid. Not just dribble. A lot of. Aggravating. It replaces a similar one I've had for many years and the older one had a better lid, didn't drip when pouring at all.
