Updated Review - Several issues.

I like that there is Bluetooth between the scanner and the car so I can walk around with the scanner and check things. Micro SD card slot and USB port are easily accessible. I also like the function of saving customer data on the scanner and linking it to the vehicle scan. Your PC and PC must be on the same wireless network as the scanner. Printing from a scanner goes to the PC and then to the printer. I tried to get this to work on two different PCs but I couldn't get it to work. We are still working with Autel to resolve this issue. I want the scanner to print directly to a wireless printer. I have only used the scanner on 1 vehicle. It was pretty easy to use. There were a few things I noticed. Customer data cannot be entered without VIN, mileage and vehicle color. This prevents me from preloading the scanner with my regulars. Why is color a required field? Autel Answer - Just enter dummy values in these fields. - It wasn't clear how to create a customer record after a scan (that's why I had the VIN). Eventually I found it, but it took me a bit of fiddling to find it. I'm sure it will get easier if I do this several times. The Auto VIN function is nice, but doesn't return the actual year of the car. I have 98-14 years and in the configuration of the field at the level. I had to look at the car door to get the actual year, overwriting the value in the scanner. When I was in live data mode, it didn't include O2 sensor voltage readings (pre and post CAT). The only O2 sensor readings were posterior O2 (post-cat) and posterior O2 rich (yes/no) - both post-CAT and cannot be compared to anterior O2 (pre-cat). I suspect it was just a bug in the software for that particular car. I had to use my old (OTC) scanner to see the voltages in real time. UPDATE: I've been using it for a few weeks and have tried it on several vehicles. At first I had the problem that it did not recognize Ford vehicles. Pickups, vans or trucks (Bronco, Ranger, E-Series, F-Series, SuperDuty). Only cars were on the menu. A few days later I tried again and it worked. I'm not sure what went wrong the first time, as no updates were applied between the time it didn't work and the time it worked. I found that there is no OBD1 port for Ford, so no support for older vehicles (pre 1996). I've also found that you can't copy files to a USB stick or micro SD card (although the instructions say so, you'll see how). When you try to copy a file, you get the error "Cannot copy to an external drive if it is not rooted". I emailed support and didn't get a solution - they say it works with cards up to 128GB. Finally, after several attempts, I managed to copy it to 32 GB, formatted with FAT32. There's still no answer as to how they managed to get it to work with 128GB. The printing problem has not yet been resolved. The provided instructions don't work, I keep getting the "Printer not found" message. I've also noticed that the Google Play Store app is missing, preventing me from downloading any Android apps onto my tablet (e.g. HP Print Share to bypass the printing issue, Banking app, Revain app, etc.) . This tablet runs Android 4.4.2, which is very outdated and can contribute to problems copying files to a USB drive. Due to the issues I returned the device and bought another device that supports older Ford vehicles and allows downloading Android apps.
