This was a really nice update for the small butcher's kitchen table. We used to only have bar stools with no backrest and broken screws. This update is really great! Assembly took some time (two hours, despite a nine-year-old's insistence on help) and is unfortunately done with a standard hex bolt and hex wrench. This is somewhat intuitive, and simple instructions clear up any areas of uncertainty. There weren't any balance issues, but it was a bit awkward to turn at times (and tiring due to the points above). However, when finished and ready to use, they look great in beautiful sleek black and are a joy to sit on. with some support. This is a very nice upgrade from the two we had and I think you will love them too!
