These bar stools are quite tall. They measure 46" from bottom to top and 26" from floor to seat. Assembly was fairly easy. The stools come with the seat and back attached, two pairs of legs and 6 pieces to connect the legs and keep them stable. Very good set of two bar stools with backrest. Nice design, good back support. Stools are delivered ready to assemble with detailed instructions. Took me about 45 minutes to assemble two stools. Not difficult but lots of screws going into dense wood. Once installed, the stools are strong and flat with no wobbles or noticeable imperfections. The black finish looks great anywhere. The plugs to cover the screws can be a problem, it took a bit of hammering to get them in and one fell off. However…

This is a lovely set of bar stools with a more vintage/rustic feel. They come unassembled so be prepared. My husband collected them and he is an expert in the field. Even he threw an F-bomb assembling the first chair as the dowels on the bottom gave him seizures (and obviously the instructions weren't the best). The second was much softer.
