These bar stools are quite tall. They measure 46" from bottom to top and 26" from floor to seat. Assembly was fairly easy. The stools come with the seat and back attached, two pairs of legs and 6 pieces to connect the legs and keep them stable. It comes with a set of identical screws which I like so I don't have to keep track of many different ones. It also comes with plugs to cover the holes where the screws are visible from the outside and tabs to attach them to the bottom of the legs (just in case you want to prevent the chairs from scratching the floor) . The chairs are sturdy and glossy black. I would be careful with sharp objects around them because they scratch easily with sharp objects. Overall I think these chairs are great and they look good.
