Incredibly, auto parts stores sell bulbs of this size and type for about $150 per bulb. Who knows how much the dealer will charge? For many/most cars and SUVs using HID xenon bulbs, access to the bulb holder is a major obstacle. Without the YouTube video of my make and model I probably wouldn't be able to figure it out myself, both in terms of what needs to be removed (air filter housing etc. and air duct) to get to the back of the headlight housing. Even then I may not have figured out how to unplug the lightbulb, which is totally counterintuitive (on my car at least) and I consider myself fairly advanced. However it was very nice to change the bulb and it has been working fine for a month now and a replacement bulb is now available for the other side.
