I switched from a wireless adapter to an ethernet cable for my newly built computer because I had about 250Mbps which is half of my internet plan. I know it's fast, but I want to get what I paid for. This ethernet cable was able to provide a maximum speed of 500Mbps, for which I am grateful. However, there are a few issues that I would say annoyed me a bit. First, it's a very thick cable. This means it's incredibly difficult to bend without damaging the cable when twisted. And I know it might be hard to ask, but if you want to get a longer version of this cord, you can pick up cord organizers where they attach to the wall. Many other Ethernet products often come with wall clips that organize cables over long distances, which Amazon doesn't give you.
