I use a Venta humidifier model LW45. Every day I have to add 1 ½ to 2 gallons of tap water to the unit. You must treat the water with the Venta Airwasher Water Treatment Additive and it takes 3.5 ounces of this liquid to treat the 3 gallons of water that the unit contains. You only add a flush every 10-14 days and then you have to drain the water and then flush the unit, refill it with three gallons of fresh water and add a water flush. The device comes with enough healing liquid to last about 4 weeks. I ordered this bottle to keep the device in top condition. It's 35 ounces, so it's enough for 10 treatments, or about 20 weeks. I simply put my smartphone on alarm to clean the unit, replace the water, and add the required 3.5 ounces of water purification additive. I take off the water wheels and clean them with fresh water. I wash my humidifier bath. I clean the fan assembly. I fill up the unit with 3 gallons of fresh tap water and then add this solution. It's really simple and easy. The cleaning liquid does the following:* It contributes to environmental hygiene* It improves the evaporation process by keeping water on the wheels and drawing more water out of the container so that it can evaporate* Prevents limescale deposits* Prevents unpleasant orders. The label on the front of the bottle has a graduation for every 3.5 ounces you need to use. This is a good product and it works well and I gave it a 5 star rating. I love the humidifier and I love that this cleaning solution does a good job of keeping it fresh and clean.
