Restcloud Butterfly Habitat 36 " provides a superior experience

I bought this habitat to breed Sailboat butterflies. 2018 is my fourth summer of growing Sailboats. I used to put the caterpillars on a raised bed covered with bird netting set.By the second summer I found that the cardinals had learned to leap to the top of the net and lower it just far enough to pluck the caterpillars from the fennel plants. The caterpillars crawled away to pupate, I found only one pupa in three summers. However, the habitat protects the eggs of butterflies, caterpillars and pupae from birds, wasps and other predators. The mesh is so thin that even the smallest spider mites and smallest insects cannot penetrate. The zippered door offers easy access Access to potted plants. , caterpillars and butterflies The plastic window offers excellent visibility and wind protection in this habitat I can watch the caterpillars eating, growing and pupating; I can also watch every day how each chrysalis changes until a butterfly appears. Butterflies can easily cling to lattice walls or ceilings while their wings spread and dry. This hardy habitat has withstood heavy rainfall well. It's easy to clean - just remove potted plants (with caterpillars and pupae) and sweep gently with a small broom and dustpan. Wipe the floor with a damp paper towel. (Remember not to leave caterpillars and pupae unattended while outside their habitat; birds will swoop down on them and eat them.) This habitat is of great value and has greatly enhanced my butterfly experience this fourth summer; I recommend this habitat for growing sailboats. (Note: Seller also provides information and helpful tips on growing butterflies.)
