Review on Hulless Training Traction Leashes Backyard by Jessica Sanders

Revainrating 4 out of 5

Good training leash, especially for small dogs.

My Yorkie means the world to me, so I'm very careful about quality when I buy things for her. The most important thing about a leash that long is that it is strong and doesn't break. She doesn't bite, so I don't have to worry about her chewing on her. I had a wider black leash that burned out at camp (my dog was off the leash at the time. The leash ended up near the campfire. Oh that's a long story lol) so I needed a new one. searched and checked various reviews and statistics and decided on it. This is the length I wanted and reviews were generally positive. It's narrower than my old one, but my dog is only 15 pounds. She doesn't need a strong leash. But she needs a reliable, strong leash that will allow her to pull and run without breaking or snapping. The metal clasp is small but strong and there is a handle although it's only a loop. I bought the red color hoping it would match my dog's harness. It's red, but it's actually more of a bright orange than the cherry red I was hoping for. But it's normal. It's very noticeable. I've used it a few times and the leash is strong and doesn't seem to have any weak points. This can take a long time (I've pulled hard on it a few times in different places to see it) and it's long enough for Molly to walk around without being in danger. It is also an excellent training leash. I'm only taking off one star because I haven't tested it yet. I'm happy with the leash at the moment. I'm getting used to the smaller width which actually fits my small dog better than the 1.25 inch I used. You know if I have problems Now I'm sure I made the right choice. I hope it stays that way.

Pros
  • Absolutely amazing!
Cons
  • Not bad, but...
