Impressed, and that in this price range. My basement is 1800 square meters. Feet humidity went from 58% to 43% in less than 90 minutes. I don't know how much less than 90 minutes as I assumed it would take longer to make a big difference so I didn't check! This raised the ambient temp by about 5 degrees to 72 degrees (no air conditioning/heating running), which is what I was expecting, and it's a small compromise to get rid of the musty smell and feel quickly. I put it on a timer and depending on how often the doors are opened to let "fresh" humidity into the room it has to run for about 1 hour every 3-4 hours so it doesn't go over 50% goes when it's relative humidity outside is a little over 60%, if you run longer I got it to 37%. I don't use a drain hose and draining isn't that difficult in our relative humidity, but in very humid climates it may be necessary to use a permanent drain. Finally, it comes fully assembled and is easy to move on its wheels (use a little common sense to avoid tipping over!) even on thick carpet. I will read this review again if I have any premature problems with the device. As long as it's a workhorse.
