The fabric is not linen and doesn't wrinkle so easily. They are comfortable and light weight; not see thru. I am vertically challenged so they were a little long but not by much. I did throw them in the dryer and they did not shrink or fade. The fabric has a crinkle texture which gives it a linen like look. Oh, the front fly is faux. It's stitched to appear as if there was a zipper. For many this is a deal breaker for me not so much
