Try putting some cards where the money should be and one in the slot. I tried that and now it doesn't open and stays closed. I think with the use of part of the wallet will continue to improve. Overall I like this design more than other wallets on the market. Fits my iPhone 11 perfectly and eliminates the need for a wallet. As always excellent quality from Lifeproof
