I've been typing almost all my life, at least 30 years (120 wpm atm). I am also a gamer and needed a backlit keyboard when gaming at night. I can type with my eyes closed, but in a dimly lit room I'd rather have some light on the keyboard. I like the mechanics and their efficiency, but I don't care about the noise or the shape of the keys. It's a low, very smooth keyboard. Not completely still, but almost. It's also very responsive for general typing OR gaming. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because while I can make the keyboard lighter or darker, it doesn't change the colors and I always stick with this beautiful rainbow keyboard. I'm not complaining though, it's great value for money.
