This product has the consistancy of a gel but manages to add a little "oomph" to my hair without any stiffness or weight. My hair is baby-fine and I can use all the help I can get. The scent is subtle when first applied and unnoticable once dried. My hair seems shinier and less fly-away and a tad thicker when I use this product. Its not the magic bullet for my hair problem but it does have enough positive effect to be worth continued use.
