It was better than I expected. It loads very quickly, I don't miss my Chromebook's download speed. Windows 10 works much better than on my old laptop. The screen is quite colorful and sharp. It's not as flashy as some, according to a Notebook magazine review that convinced me to buy it. but bright enough for anything but bright sunlight. If you want to work outside in bright sunshine, take one of the others. It is good for a shady porch or anywhere indoors. Buttons can be difficult to read under certain conditions, regardless of whether you turn the backlight on or off. The black keys with white lettering on my Chromebook are much better for those who look at the keys a lot while typing. Blind typing is good. I often have Zoom meetings and my other two computers kept saying "Your internet connection is unstable". But I never had any problems with this computer, despite the bad DSL Internet. The speakers can be turned up quite loud, which is important for me because I don't hear well. If you turn them up too loud during a Zoom call, you might get feedback mid-call, but you can turn them off at any time. I thought the fingerprint reader was a gimmick, but it's very handy. It feels very solid and doesn't feel heavy even after you get used to a £2 Chromebook. WIFI and Bluetooth were both flawless. I don't use very sophisticated software, except for Zoom, which seems more sophisticated than I thought. The trackpad and touchscreen work very well.
