Real leather lasts forever
I bought this rug to replace a faux leather rug I've had for a few years. The top layer around the edges of the faux leather pad was starting to peel off, but I wanted something more permanent. I went with real leather because I thought it would never wear out and I thought it would look good. I am very happy. looks rich Edge stitching is a nice touch. If you need extra cushioning, this isn't exactly what you need. The skin is thin, which is probably for the best because it lays flat. It doesn't move forward when in use. I have no problem getting the mouse to work across the entire surface. I applied a leather protector and used a drinks coaster to protect them from water damage.
