This sturdy case is packed with useful features! Some of the best features are that you don't have to use Bluetooth to connect, instead using a direct wired connection with a separate built-in USB-C port. The stylus can be stored in the case, which makes it easy to pack and carry the keyboard without worrying about losing the stylus. However, the Pencil can also be placed on the iPad screen in the normal charging position. It's not the best place to pack and shuffle, but it's the place Apple provided for charging. I like the flexibility and security of these two places. I appreciate the switch on the back that allows you to turn off the case and save battery power. Basically, connect your iPad with a USB-C cable and you no longer need to charge your keyboard separately. Fabulous! Make sure the switch stays on while charging, as it will not charge in the off position. I could use my dock (which requires power). The backlight and color choices are pretty nifty and very useful in the dark (like on the plane when I travel again!). I had no way of using the HDMI port, but I was able to use the USB port. Connections. That's good, but it would be great if they could have USB 3.1/3.2 speeds. The keyboard is solid and very comfortable for fast touch typing and doesn't have any quirks like misplaced or irregularly shaped keys. This is a full swing with positive reviews. Finally, apart from the great solid construction and protection of the body and the great keyboard, the best feature is the fact that the iPad can be positioned like a laptop and tilted to any angle. The full flex hinge is unlike many other cases that have footrest style supports and can only be tilted to 1-3 different positions. I can tilt it at will and adjust it as needed by changing position on the chair or at the table! Big!
