At first my box was open, the tube was very compressed in the middle and there was no protective cap under the cap so I believe I received a used tube. Strange because they won't let you return this item. I bought this product mainly for light rust removal, in addition to the polish. The advertisements show people easily erasing rust. I first used it on my gym equipment, chrome bars and steel racks. Not so good, it didn't remove all the rust after a thorough cleaning and polish, it was a far cry from what other products did. The same goes for the brass plate under the toilet connection which was rusty. I spent 30 minutes scrubbing with a toothbrush, microfiber cloth and towels, using about 1/8 tube with VERY LITTLE rust. For rust removal, spend your money on a good penetrant or rust inhibitor instead of that expensive junk. I used WD-40 penetrant and it removed 3x more rust in a short amount of time and at a fraction of the cost. Brasso or other inexpensive polishes work better for a fraction of the cost. I should have known better than to buy this crappy product. The original ad ended up in my Facebook feed. Because I can't get a refund; I throw the remaining tube in the trash rather than wasting time and "elbow lube" on a poor quality product when I already have inexpensive household items that do the job much better!
