We were moving some cabinets from an old house to a new one and the holes didn't match. So I drilled new holes to hang cabinets. Using these dots to cover up old holes (and possibly a hole that missed the bolt!) was a quick and easy fix. They're similar to the color-matched forks that furniture makers use, but they're just flat points. They are laminated or made of plastic (not paper). I would recommend them.
