Scientific measurement study. Attention advertising agencies. I bought this item to support one of these weaving swings. 40 inch models that have three photoshopped children sitting on them and that have an extra leg. When I opened the box and pulled out the swivel I immediately thought it looked small. I looked back at the list and saw 4.3 inches long and 2.1 inches wide. PFF! 3.26" long x 1.48" wide. Not even close to my part of the country. That discrepancy aside, it spins BUT when loaded it feels a lot rougher than if you just hold it in your hand and spin it. Even if you pull and twist it with your hands, you will feel an increase in friction. This leads me to suspect that the wrong type of bearing was used for this application. For example, you don't want to use a skateboard-style cartridge bearing because the loading will come from the side instead of the top. I would take it apart and find out, but they don't want to because they stuff holes in the hardware that holds it together. Makes it less desirable to return when you're put off by size distortions. As other reviewers have noted, the included lockable carabiners aren't the best, but they'll probably do the trick. Don't use them for climbing. If I try to shed light on this product it will be the advertised weight class. 30KN is advertised and 35KN is printed on the spinner. BY THE WAY. 30 KN is 6744 pounds so why not list that instead of 2500?
