Review on Mudtools MudSponge Cleanup Shaping Pottery by Kristen Reid

Revainrating 3 out of 5

Good, but not "great ".

Reviews praise these sponges like it's the end of all sponges. Maybe I'm wrong here? They are good but I don't get what all the hype is about? I am seriously confused. I get that they're smooth to throw and even durable, but ultimately they're nowhere near as absorbent as my cheap $6-$1 pack of sponges. Also, I find their shape a bit uncomfortable when throwing. Finally, I use $1 store sponges most of the time. I was expecting serious superiority from the $3/$20 pack of SPONGES. It was just ah. Their biggest advantage for me is that they leave a smoother finish than my cheap sponges. That is all for me. The biggest downside is that they don't absorb at all. Maybe that's why people like them so much? I can not understand.

Pros
  • Crafts and Sewing
Cons
  • Non-Automatic
