Purchased March 2016, used 3 times a month (1 adult, 2 children). Have tried several "combo" kits from Amazon and Costco in the past. The trimmer is usually battery operated and is sub-par at best. One of the reasons I chose this kit was that it had a wired trimmer. Both devices are well made and durable. Constant cuts and no complaints. I purchased the Wahl Professional Animal Blade Oil #3310-230 Large Clipper Oil as I believe this kit will last a long time.
