I needed a long cable to connect my printer - on another desk - to my desktop computer's processor. It's not just about the distance, but that it's meant to wrap around furniture and be invisible. Unfortunately, the room I'm in doesn't have good WiFi, hence the wireless printer option. The cable works great, giving me just enough slack to run almost imperceptibly along walls and behind cabinets to connect two points. I was a bit concerned that the length might affect the quality of the connection between the two points, but that was a moot point. While a cable that is too long is often just as impractical as one that is too short, in this case the length is exactly what I need.
