You get what you pay for
They are basically THIN nylon socks with thin rubber soles. Material for the sole is comparable to say the faux leather of a bike seat. I guess they'll be good to walk on hot sand in and out of the ocean, but clearly more use than that and they'd fall apart pretty quick. We'll see. For $11 bucks, what do you expect? Seems like 20 brands on ebay selling the exact same product made it confusing to muddle through.
